Skyway Music Entertainment

Connecting you with great music

Skyway is one of the best cover bands on Florida’s Gulf coast: a dynamic trio made up of Roger Lambert (vocals and bass), Paul Luther (guitar and vocals) and James Rosati Jr (drums and vocals). They perform a wide variety of songs from all genres and eras to suit all tastes and occasions. Skyway features incomparable vocals, tight harmonies, and outstanding musicianship. They have performed extensively at some of the best venues in the Sarasota and Bradenton area where they are fast becoming a local favorite. A larger line-up can also be put together to accommodate for weddings and corporate events as well as an acoustic duo for more intimate performances.

Roger started playing out at the age of 14, and was on the CBS show 'Where It’s At' at the age of 17. He spent years on the road with the six-piece national act Home Brew. After returning to Iowa during the Urban Cowboy days, he went country for several years with the award-winning band Heartland, who opened for all the major acts of the day. They even performed for President Clinton, where he coined the phrase “I did not play sax with that band!” Now in Florida, Roger looks forward to entertaining a whole new segment of the country.

Paul Luther first picked up the classical guitar at the age of seven and was self-taught on the electric guitar in his teenage years. After leaving school, he had a successful run of years in his native country England as a session player for many bands. He appeared on the TV show Top of the Pops three times and has performed at some of the country’s largest venues, including Wembley Arena and the Birmingham NEC. After touring the USA, he decided to make the move across the pond in 2007. Since then, Paul has performed classical guitar at many venues and private events and has been a member of several local cover bands before finding the right fit for him in Skyway.

Jim Rosati Jr started playing drums at age 3. He played on television with Juice, a rock and roll trio, at age 5 and studied under Tony Monforte as a youth. At 15 Jim studied Jazz at SUNY Binghamton which added creativity, chops and expressiveness to his playing before travelling abroad to Russia, England and Belgium, performing and instructing music through sister city programs in his late teens. He has always played in numerous bands of all genres with an extensive studio resume, working alongside recording artists like Unity Group and Broad Caverns Productions. Jim has now relocated to the west coast of Florida to enjoy life, family and music. He is a soulful and dynamic drummer and is blessed to have played with great musicians his whole career. Performing with Skyway now continues that journey.
